Application is straightforwardNov 27 2011History/Histories (art history/etc.)
application is straightforward. applying as freshman is competitive in-state after princeton and tcnj (stevens is tech heavy, drew is easy and rutgers is a joke, any where else in state is not really worth mentioning). applying as a transfer is ridiculously easy since in NJ all you need is 2.75 gpa to be automatically accepted into any state school.

I started my relationship with RCNJ from being inAug 21 2011Other
I started my relationship with RCNJ from being in a three year math and science program as a high school student, then later as an incoming EOF student. So before the fall of my first semester I already had an abundance of friends and support throughout the college.

As soon as the academic year began I was a little culture shocked. I expected the amount of minorities on campus to be larger than it was. That did not not stop me though. I got involved as soon as I hit the campus. I made my fun on campus (which candidly was not that hard to do). I actually became bored with not doing anything so i got involved. Personally, I am not a drinker or a smoker, and not that big on partying, but I still had my fun.

Although my the Theater Department is not as "great" as it could be, it all comes down to you as a student. I am earnest about my career and if you take hold of it the professor are there to help guide you if YOU make yourself available to them. They will not wait for you, nor hand anything out to you.

I had the best freshman year experience and I grew so much as a person.I would recommend coming to this school, but be smart.

Went to community college for 2 years then transferred. For incoming freshies, I recommend your high school GPA be around 3.4, since that's the average for incoming freshman at Ramapo.

Good gradeDec 09 2010English
Good grades, mostly A's (3.6), around 1700 SAT (3 sections), be involved, community service, write an awesome essay, show them you're interested. People DO get rejected, it's not an easy school to get into - I know two qualified applicants - one got denied, one waitlisted then denied.
SAT: 1700 Female
Extra-Curriculars are something they look at very highly hereNov 09 2010Nursing
Extra-Curriculars are something they look at very highly here. I did field hockey, Choir, secretary of a club, and crew all four years of school. Also your class rank and junior/senior grades. I did fairly well on the ACT but horrible on the SAT's and it didn't seem to affect my standings.
